Introduction
Unemployment is referred to the situation, which happens if a person of a given specific age is not being able to achieve the state of employment at any profession. In that context, it can be mentioned that the process of unemployment also occurs if a person is available for work but is not able to find a suitable job. This process clearly defines that the unemployment situation of a person signifies the jobless condition of that individual. The unemployment process is measured through the unemployment rates and that represents the number of people who are unemployed at a percentage of labour forces.
In that case, it can be mentioned that the unemployment situation of individuals can happen due to multiple reasons. Sources that are resulting in the unemployment situation of a person are such as the presence of new technology and inventions, the status of the economy and the increasing competition due to globalisation and international trade. Furthermore, regulation and the market situation also served a significant impact on the creation of reasons for unemployment.
On this purpose, the discussion of this assessment is focusing on the unemployment process, which is highly noted within the context of Australia. There is also the presence of precise analysis of historical overview and current contexts of the issues of unemployment in the discussion part. Strategies, as well as programmes, which can be applied for the reduction of unemployment issues from Australia, are also presented with the proper analysis within this report.
1. Historical Overview of the Issue
According to the reports, it is noticed that the unemployment rates within the context of Australia has been increasing and this process is evident from the past ages. Through the overview of the previous data, it is observed that since 1966, there has been a 7.9% rise in the male unemployment rate.
