a. Derive an expression for the temperature profile and heat flow through the two materials.
b. If one increases the interfacial area by increasing the length of the cylinder, does the heat flow increase?
c. If one increases the interfacial area by increasing the outer diameter, does the heat increase or decrease? How does the increase or decrease compare with a similar system having no interfacial resistance?
