(a) Determine the total test time if two failures are allowed and a 90% confidence level is desired.
(b) If the true MTBF of the population is 600,000 hours, determine and justify whether the product will most likely pass or fail test.
(c) Create a test performance ratio chart that lists various test alternatives.
(d) Select one of the following regions where the product failure rate is presumed to lie for the analysis above to be valid (early life, flat part of bathtub curve, or wear-out).
