In an earlier chapter’s exercise, you ran a regression model using the ANES knowledge index as your dependent variable and the four media variables as your independent variables. Now after reading this chapter, you’re concerned that these four variables might suffer from multicollinearity, given that people who consume one type of news are likely to consume other types of news. Run a set of nested models (entering each independent variable one at a time), and explain why you should or should not be concerned.
