wavelength λ0 = 1.15 μm is traveling in the GaAs waveguide, incident on
the modulator at an angle of 93◦ relative to the direction of propagation of the
acoustic waves, for what acoustic wavelength Λ will the modulator produce
the maximum output optical intensity? (ii) At what angle will the optical
beam be traveling once it has left the modulator (in air)?
