In a Chicago study involving the use of olestra as a substitute for fat in potato chips, Proctor and Gamble researchers reported that on a nine point taste scale, olestra chips got a mean of 5.6 where regular chips got a mean of 6.4. When Proctor and Gamble were asked to provide the raw data they refused. Is this ethical?
