In a burner 1 kg/s methane is combusted with 20 kg/s air. both gases are introduced into the burner at 25 Celsius and 1 bar. it may be assumed that the air is 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen on a molar basis that all components behave as ideal gases and that no heat is lost to the surroundings.
