The 14th Dalai Lama has written that there are no national boundaries for climate protection or for the global economy and that when humans pursue only their own national interests there is strife and war: “We are all brothers and sisters: physically, mentally and emotionally. But we are still focusing far too much on our differences instead of our commonalities.”
