Imperial Industries is an aging company that has grown over the years and are looking to improve the security of their data and computer systems after recent news events alerted the CEO to potential problems with their fleet of IT systems.As a part of their security team, you have been engaged to:• Conduct a security audit of all connected systems within the organisation.• Perform penetration tests on all connected systems to determine if there areany vulnerabilities.• Test security of systems that are found to be vulnerable by attempting to gainadministrator or root access.• Record and report your findings for all connected systems.Except for Kali and the DHCP Server.Resources: There are two Pen Testing labs setup on NetLab for this report, they are:• These labs represent the all the systems within the organisation and you might have noticed some of them are quite old.• The Kali installation is the 2019.4 release with all updates installed up to September 2020. It also has an active connection to the Internet to obtain updates should they be required. • Note: the systems you are testing do not have an active Internet connection. So, installing any updates for them isn’t possible.
