Overview
In this assignment, we are going to address about the establishment of the Computer
Forensic Laboratory. We deliberate about the requirements for setting up a private PC forensic
and research lab for exploration. We have researched about the needs of the laboratory setup
from various research literature and investigation of prevailing forensic research laboratories. For
the paper, we prepare a report on the planning for our laboratory that arranges for workers and
equipment’s and training plan of the same. The plan detailed about the different components to
establish a private digital forensic laboratory.
Laboratory Employees and their responsibilities
The proposed number of members required for a small size and new digital forensic lab is
around 10-15 (as small size or scope), comprising of laboratory manager, investigators, and
forensic analysts. The Research laboratory Administrator needs to hire workforces of appropriate
academic qualifications or knowledge to offer them through the central scientific philosophies
for labor in the Criminological PC Research laboratory. The employees are accountable to be
