If you have never done a search before, try this: find out how much car dealers pay for your favorite cars, what they charge consumers for them, and what you should know about buying a new car. Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds both publish magazines with all that information, but you can get the same information on their websites for free.

Using the Google search engine ( www.google.com ), type “automobile buyer’s guide” and “Edmunds” in the Search box, and hit the Google Search button. How many entries did you get? Click on a link to the Edmunds website. Explore the site, and answer the questions at the beginning of this exercise. Try the same exercise for “ Kelley Blue Book ”; are the results different?
