If you hadn’t noticed yet, the field of Psychology has been dominated by white men for most, if not all, of its history. The textbook covers a few female psychologists and a few African American psychologists...but that’s it (one of my favorite history of psychology books is called‘Even the Rats Were White’). For this bonus assignment, you will submit a one page (not including your title page and references page, in APA format), double spaced paper on a psychologist that has contributed to the history of psychology from an under-reported/represented group (i.e. female or African American or...). The individual you select must NOT have been covered in the textbook. The paper should be a summary of the individual including some biographical details and information about their work/theories/research/contributions to the field. Research using reputable web sources is ok for this assignment.
