Identification of Spurious Signals Table 10-17 shows the result of observing six signals on the output of a mixer. We suspect some of the components on the mixer’s output are spurious signals so we perform the following tests and record the following data:
a. Increase the value of the input attenuator by 3 dB.
b. Reset the input attenuator and then shift the frequency of the LO by 1 MHz.
Identify the source of the signals in the table and the order of the response. Justify your answers.
