How do healers become socially validated to fill their role? It has been a total pleasure to share this experience with all of you. Happy holidays! Veronica. Richard Borshay Lee’s narrative was mainly discussing and referencing that there was a problem of social equality, cultural differences, and values. The Bushmen’s society had different customs and traditions that showed the vivid differences between them and the Tswana tribes/guests. The narrative demonstrates how the distinct national society of Bushmen views the conceit and social injustice of the contemporary world. The Christmas tale, which took place in accordance with tribal customs, has a direct bearing on current anthropological issues. The author attempted to emphasise the Bushmen's utter disdain for the haughtiness of outsiders entering their country or residing with them. Although their practise of making fun of everyone may appear cruel and cynical, it enables other countries to recognise their errors and permanently lose their arrogance. The issue at hand was that the bushman should not have come in with their kill and boast about their accomplishment but must remain humble and silent. The author showcased that people should be more open-minded to the people that surrounds us, no matter their background and nationality.

The author of Eating Christmas in the Kalahari is Richard Borshay lee. In this story, he effectively shows the lifestyle, values and nature of the bushman's society. Anthropology refers to the study of humans and their lifestyle in the past or present, then analyzing the development of humans in many stages. In Richard's story, he explains how bushman people control negative thoughts like temper, arrogance, etc. According to anthropology, this story is effective in the bushman tactic of humiliation. According to Lee, R.B., (1969), the story explains that if all people understand social equality and value their thoughts openly, the barrier of intercultural would be broken. In the present time, misunderstandings and low social interaction between the countries are common, and status are calculated by money rather than by nature, behavior, or openness of the people. That's why Richard's story is very important for anthropological studies, it explains the behavior development of the bushman people. This story is the best and most effective example of anthropology.
