The American society can be termed as a unique combination of immigrants and
indigenous population. There are myriads of problems present in this society but there
are innumerable opportunities available to provide happiness to the people who are
dwelling in this society. Life for the minorities (mostly composed of the immigrants and
their generations) in the American society is an admixture of different kinds of
experiences. Sometimes such experiences are painful and sometimes some experiences
infuse hope and happiness within the minds of the individuals belonging to the
concerned minority communities in the United States of America.
Primarily the hindrances that minorities have to face in the United States are
actually products of the dilemma and obscurities created by the issue of illegal
immigration. It is due to the practice of foreigners migrating illegally into the domain of
the United States that the indigenous American populace (most of them) are quite
annoyed with the minorities who are most of the time composed of individuals or
successors of individuals who once emigrated from their native lands in search of hope,
peace, and security and their destination was the United States. As this illegal
immigration has now turned into a hot topic of debate in the socio-political and cultural
sphere of the United States, the minorities in the country have to go through some
major forms of uncertainties, both economic and social.
The problem lies in the fact that the majority of the American indigenous
populace decline to consider the positive sides of the illegal immigration process and
this in turn widens the gap of communication and understanding between them and the
minorities. It should be mentioned that the minorities are the only reason why the

United States has been able to emerge as a country infused with multiplicity in culture
and custom and this diversity has also positively affected the economy of the country. It
is undeniable unlike American workers, “Illegal employees perform just about any type
