LETTER
Executive Summary
    The letter which is addressed to Senator Ted Cruz, a Congressional senator representing Texas is based on the issue of racial discrimination in Texas. The information that has been drawn from multiple polls suggests that increased population of Texas voters consider that the increasing racial and ethnic diversity is a matter of great concern as it can lead to different kinds of problems. On the one hand, the incidents of racial discrimination are increasing by leaps and bounds, while on the other hand, there is a rapid increase of violence against black people. The violent incidents are often reflected in the form of police shootings of unarmed black people as well as police brutality. Although there is a certain section of the Texas voters population that aims to believe that the increased number of black killings and violence is a sign of a larger and more significant issue, there are people in the opposing section who believe that these killings and incidences of violence are isolated cases which are not associated with one another in any manner.
    There is however, a personal angle as well as reason behind being increasingly concerned about the fate of the black community. This is because, as a community member there has been instances of observed violence and harassment of black people who are close to me. As a result of the personal implications, the issue of racial discrimination is especially of great importance. There is a plea for making certain amendments to the bill produced by the Constitution regarding the inclusion of anti-racist principles.

This letter is aimed at bringing your attention to the problem of racial relations in Texas as well as the greater expanse of America. As you are probably aware, the removal of Confederate monuments has given rise to a significant debate leading to the problem of racial divide and the issue of white supremacy.
