Presentation:
At the end of Module 4, you will submit a PowerPoint presentation to summarize your findings. Here is the researchquestion:"If humans keep fishing, will the fish supply eventually run out?"Your PowerPoint must include the following:
1. A minimum of 12 slides; include slide numbers. All slide backgrounds must be white with black text.
2. Slide 1: Your title slide should give the research question you have investigated.
3. Slide 2: Your Abstract that meets the Abstract guidelines (see III below).
4. Slide 3: Two possible answers to your research question, labeled “Answer Supported” and Answer Refuted”.
· Answer Supported: This is the answer to your question that is supported by the evidence in your peer-reviewed article and other sources. For example, “Answer Supported: Food A is healthier than Food B.”
· Answer Refuted: This is the answer that not supported by your peer-reviewed article and other sources. For example: “Answer Refuted: Food B is healthier than Food A.”
5. After slide 3, use additional slides to describe and explain the evidence supporting your claim. These slides must be titled “Evidence for Answer Supported.”
i. Use examples, applications, and observations from your research - do not merely list facts.
ii. Explain why each piece of evidence is important or relevant.
iii. Cite the sources from which you obtained your evidence. You must use three or more sources; at least one source must be a peer-reviewed academic journal article.
6. Next, explain why the Answer Refuted is inaccurate, and how the inaccurate misconception of its accuracy may have arisen. These slides must be titled “Evidence against Claim Refuted.”
7. Your final slide should be a Works Cited page with a complete, APA formatted reference for every source you used. Remember to use in-text citations as you borrow from each source in your presentation. For help with references and citations, visit the

Abstract:
Your peer-reviewed article will serve as the centerpiece of your Semester Project, and should provide the evidence that you will use to decide which claim is best-supported by evidence. You will then write a 500-word “abstract” to summarize and analyze this article; your abstract will be written in paragraph form, not as a list.
You will then paste your abstract into slide #2 of your PowerPoint – you may reduce the font size as needed to fit. Your abstract must include the following:
1. In Paragraph One (must be given in paragraph form; do not just list)
i. Article title
ii. Author
iii. Source (the full name of the journal that published the article)
iv. Date of publication
2. In Paragraphs 2-5: Summary (summarize the article in up to three paragraphs)
3. Final Paragraph: Analysis (analyze the article. Is the biology clearly explained? Has the author made a justifiable interpretation of the data?). Statements about whether you enjoyed the article or what you learned from the article do not belong in your Abstract or other parts of your semester presentation.
