Introduction
The advent of pet cafes across different places in the world has changed the relationships among pets and humans to a g
reat extent. The pets have their ways of comforting people. As a result of this, the people are extremely benefited, such as, for instance, people who live far from their families find comfort, happiness, and warmth from the pets in the café. The care and love that they receive from the pets, help lonely people cope up with emotional upheavals, moments of stress, anxiety, depression, and so on. This is known as pet therapy, which has proven to be extremely helpful for the physical as well as emotional health of humans.
Description
The thought behind the foundation of a pet café is that animals have their way of improving the mental health conditions of the people through different means. The pet café, which will be called 'Alohomora' will aim at unlocking all the emotional heaviness and intensity in an unconventional manner. The café will be based in Miami, Florida. Alohomora will not focus on the common populace, rather it will place close focus on the disabled people, both young as well as adults. In the café, there will be specially trained animals, such as dogs, cats, turtles, birds, and so on, which will be kept in a completely safe manner. The disabled children and adults will be able to spend time with the animals and experience happiness and bliss. This particular service will provide, what is known as, pet therapy to the customers, and alleviate their stress, anxiety, and tensions.
Mission Statement
The mission statement of Alohomora is 'to unlock the inherent pain, psychological stress, anxiety, tension, the emotional upheaval of the disabled children and adults and provide them a free space of enjoying themselves with the trained animals so that they can rid themselves of the pent up emotions in an effective manner. The pet café aims to serve disabled people, who are in dire need of love, company, and warmth so that they can feel at home as a result of the love and warmth of the animals. The love of the animals will also inspire the notion of self-love, where the customers will be able to understand the notion and implement it in their regular mundane lives.
SWOT Analysis
It is extremely important to understand the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of any organization. Even in the case of Alohomora, SWOT analysis is mandatory.
