 For import activities, I have chosen kids apparel segment on the site of Alibaba.com 
because it has huge demand in every marketplace. I have selected the kids segment of apparel 
because it has huge growth in market. This segment also makes huge profit because of the less 
availability of kids’ garment supplier in my market. For the supply of the apparel, I have selected 
“Taizhou Warmtry Yeguangming Industrial Co., Ltd.” This supplier is registered on site since 
last nine year and it has a gold ranking (Alibaba.com Hong Kong Limited., 2012). It means that 
this organization provides quality products to its customers.  
 This site is effective for trading activities because it provides a place where a buyer could 
contact several suppliers at a time by some simple steps and process and could also get the 
information about the price of their requirements. It could not be possible by the traditional 
trading methods. Hence, this benefit adds potential values with the name of the site. But, this site 
does not focus over the trading activity that is the main drawback of this site because it does not 
protect the business rights of buyer or suppliers in the case of any fraud.  
Therefore, it is reasonable to consider that eventually most of SME’s that are involved 
into trading activities might take place in the context of sites like Alibaba.com because it would 
help them to explore their officering in the almost of every foreign market and also raises the 
value of their products in the form of brand identification.
