ents of Socrates Verdict in Plato’s Apology
    Socrates, a great philosopher had to endure the dangers of faith at a time when there was little room for rationality. The outcome of a belief in a God, for centuries, has been nothing short of evil or injustice. The events described in Plato's apology communicate a significant message, although unjust and wrong concerning human well-being. Irrespective of the state of affairs during Socrates' period, the reason to inquire and examine the existence of being was wrong in no way. The evolution of moral principles considering human well-being makes the verdict seem highly unjustifiable. The jury's decision to pass a death sentence for Socrates's inquiry of the fundamental questions of existence and the existence of a supernatural being causing doubt in young minds only reflected the problem that faith does to the actions of humans.
