Human services are collectively referred as the interdisciplinary programs that support individuals who need to function properly in all domains of life. In fact, there are three main dimensions of human services namely; micro, macro and mezzo level (Watts).
At micro level, the identification of the root sources of potential issues is seen at broad social level. Individuals suffering from basic emotional insensibilities of people, psychological issues as well as problems to their living are addressed (Bennett et al.).
At mezzo level, the recognition of the resources, which can be applied to the course of assistance, is processed. In other words, what sources can be of help to the individuals is something that works on mezzo level.
Similarly, macro level defines the social conditions that have caused difficulties in living. For an individual having marginalized life, human services provide holistic support to alleviate current living norms. 
Part II
As per the observation of the videos provided, human services are akin to the social support groups, which are designed to bring in social equality of living. It is the procedure, which individuals can apply to make sure that life-changing moments are created in the life of those, who desperately need it (Garcia).
A slight change in the life of someone such as monologue speaker of the movie Precious may lead to positive conclusions later and it can be one of the defining moments for him.
