1. Executive summary
The data is most essential asset of the organizations and because of this increased data requirements, the data centers becomes the most important requirement of modern world organizations. The planning of data centers is big challenge for small size organizations and even for large size organizations. The planning for data center and upgrading any project requires execution of specific methods. The proposal for data center will be provided to all the stakeholders of the organization, so, proper plans must be developed and designs by considering the levels of stakeholders. The involvement of technical details in plan makes it difficult and unstructured in some cases but the planner must include technical details in the proposal so that the stakeholders can take the decisions towards the implementation of data center. The presented proposal is showing complete technical details and any small changes in the proposal will increase the cost of complete data center planning and implementation. The sudden surprises to stakeholders will downstream the proposal of data center and as the result the implement at the organization will affected. The traditional methods of data center planning are mainly focuses on the system requirements but in modern proposal all aspects of architecture and topologies are considered.
Deciding the physical infrastructure of data center is core component of any planning proposal. If any mistakes are done in planning phase, then, complete deployment of data center will result in certain delays with wastage of time and money. The flow model of the data center takes maximum time and it can identify the planning mistakes for development of data center. The final design of data center is based on certain assumptions and procedures, so, effective planning can help in managing the data center effectively for any organization. The planning of data center shows its scale and quality, so standardized approaches must be followed for completing the planning of required data center. Some organizations are not able to afford the complete data centers, then, data marts can be better solution for them. The development of data center is most frequently taken decisions in planning and less impacted by the physical implementation of data center. The planning for data center includes the identification of business needs for data center, preparing plan, making design of data center, acquire the required resources and then finally implementing the required data center.
2. Implementation specifications in data center planning
The data centers planning for any organizational business requirements needs certain implementation specifications and these implementation specifications must be specified during the planning phase of the data center. The implementation specifications includes definition of responsibilities, effective management for configuration of data center, taking some decisions on bases of outsourcing results, deciding the budget if data center and scheduling the implementation of data center. The hardware configuration for data center shows the main implementation specifications for the data center. So, for maintaining the proper planning for the data center implementation, the structured model showing all dependencies of any type and data flow to data center must be examined. The frame work of logical sequences for deciding the implementation of data center plays important role in planning. So, the planning proposal acts as the blueprint of the actual implementation of data center. The mainly undertaken implementation specifications for planning the data center are explained below:

The sequences of system planning for data center implementation includes plan, prepare, design, acquire and implement. So, it is a detailed sequential process which as to be followed for planning the data center.
· Business requirements: The data centers are mostly designed and planned based on the certain business requirements. The identification of business requirements for the data center will help in determining the IT parameters, developing the concepts of data center implementation, determining the user requirements from the data center, defining the preferences and constraints, generating the specifications of the data center and finally generating the detailed design for starting the building phase of physical data center.

The implementation of data center and planning for the same has to follow certain standards in its actual implementation. The mainly undertaken implementation standards for planning the data center are explained below:

All the phases of the proposal for data center are determined with this standard. The TUI3026E is the main origin of these standards for planning the data center. These standards provides the rating of the proposal and implementation based on the compartmentalization, capabilities of fault tolerance, maintenance capabilities, distribution path followed by the data center and components defining the activation capabilities of data center.
· ANSI 002 – 2014: These are the best standards from ANSI and developed in 2014 for implementation of data center. These standards checks the
