Andre Kertesz has been an inspiration for many of the photographers. One of his masterpieces is
La Fourchette or The Fork from 1928.
The Fork (1928):
The fork and the white bowl are common objects and rarely can we see through what these
objects are trying to speak. “The Fork” picture elaborates a silver metallic fork laying on a white
bowl and placed on a wooden table. Image can be studied in two parts. One is the graphic line
and shadow which are presented in classic and detailed fashion. In this close up shot taken from
a very close angle over the fork, the metallic display of fork is apparently the focus of the image.
When we lay the section of nines (rule of third), fork covers two diagonal intersection point and
