Introduction
· Sending and receiving information is basic necessity.
· Essential for the functioning of society.
· Several ways can be used to send and receive communication.
· Smartphone vs. face to face communication will be discussed.
Society cannot sustain without the transfer of information among themselves therefore communication becomes a basic necessity to survive (Adler, Rodman & Du Pré, 2016). There can be different modes used in order to send and receive information depending upon the availability as well as affordability. This report will focus upon the comparison between communication through smartphones and face to face communication and efforts will be made to reflect why smartphones are better mode of communication.
What is communication
· Conveying meaning or information from one group to another.
· Sending and receiving information are major steps.
· Also considered as a way of social contact
Communication in simpler terms can be considered as the process of transfer of information between two individuals or groups. Sender and receiver are two major component of this process and it is the most essential aspect of maintaining social contact. Further, it is essential to consider that without communication individuals will be isolated and survival will become difficult therefore in order to live in symphony and in a synchronized manner communication is essential. Dynamic aspects and entities can be transferred ranging from ideas, to information and even feelings. It is an essential aspect when it comes to managing businesses or directing functions of management. However, the type of communication used highly depends upon feasibility, affordability as well as user-friendliness of the type.

There majorly only two types of communication that is verbal and non-verbal communication. Verbal communication is highly dependent upon the use of voice as well as a medium to transfer the information. Langue is the medium used to transfer the information and this is most commonly used during presentations, lectures, conferences, phone calls, meetings, one-on-one communications and much more. Verbal communication requires a speaker that will be the sender of information and a listener which will be the receiver of information.

Non-verbal mode of communication uses body language, gestures and even facial expression in order to transfer the information.
