Introduction
We live in fact-paced dynamic world where social media plays a critical role. By the virtue of social media, online web-based applications and tool people are empowered and enabled to discover, explore and learn new things, share information, interact with several other people. Indeed, it has transformed the way people life we know it and has made interaction, collaboration and communication much easier. Social Media platform enables us to share our thought, pictures, videos and allows to read others opinion, view their photos and anything they share like blogs, podcasts, microblogs, photographs etc. As per research majority of people today spend more than 35% of their time on various social media platforms (Hajli, Nick. "A study of the impact of social media on consumers". International Journal of Market Research 56.3 (2014): 387-404). The criticality and significance of social media platform in various walks of life is very evident with the amount of engagement and activities taking place in various such channels. Social media has great power to influence other people and regulate actions of masses hence it is critical that content on all this platform is genuine and authentic.
Analysis Social Media and Its Responsibilities
As rightly said, "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility", as the dynamics of social media platform changes drastically, organisations and various other public personality have responsibility for the content they are posting. Any global or large-scale organisation like Uber, Amazon, P&G, HCL etc have huge people following them all across the world. Similar is the case with industry leaders and several public figures like Jennifer Aniston, Priyanka Chopra Jonas etc all of them have 8 million and 10 million people following them all across the world. If they tweet or post something in their social media account, people follow it. Hence, they have potential to impact and influence several different individuals and groups (Kim, Harris Hyun-soo.
