I have the acceleration of an object that is a(t) = e^((t^2)/10) from t=0 to t=10. it's speed at t=1 is 3m/s and it's position at t=1 is 3meters. I need to find it's position at t=5 seconds.
I know i need to integrate and find the constant using the given speed value at t=1. But I can't seem to be able to integrate my acceleration without using what people seem to call imaginary numbers. we've never seen those. Is it possible to do this without using imaginary number theory?
