I have had trouble with my Mac as its given me grief, I managed to download QGIS3.14 after installing bug software, however, now it won't recognise plugins. So I mainly just need the outcomes and the maps that are to be done through QGIS, However, I've been wasting so much time downloading things and then them not working that I'm behind on other subjects, so the hole thing quoted would be good. I've never done this before so a little unsure.

Assessment item 4 Using GIS for Agriculture Value: 20% Due Date: See Subject Outline Return Date: See Subject Outline Length: 750 words Submission method options: EASTS (online) Task To complete this task you are required to: ·  Use satellite imagery of an appropriate resolution to create 2 vector polygons, each representing a paddock on your farm; ·  Calculate the area of each polygon; ·  Use online spatial data sources to identify the annual rainfall (climate), and soil · texture of each paddock; ·  Calculate a gross margin for potential enterprises using these paddocks, based on the · data supplied. It is important to note that from this point the task becomes hypothetical. The purpose of this task is to determine that you understand and can use the processes involved, not to analyse and make decisions about your own farm enterprises; ·  Use all the above information and calculations to help you decide the best production option for each paddock. · More detailed procedures and information on how to complete this assignment can be found in the "Assessment 4 - Using GIS for Agriculture" folder on the AGS107 Interact 2 site. It is important that you use the production data provided for this Assessment. This Assessment is not about the production capabilities of your own property, or any other particular property that may interest you - it is about your ability to work with the provided data in an Excel spreadsheet and your ability to use the appropriate statistics to analyse and interpret this information. · Submit a typed report of your findings. The Report should include: a) Introduction: This should provide a clear and concise description of the purpose of this · study. b) Farm description: This section should provide a written description of: ·  the farm location; ·  each paddock according to the spatial data (including CRS and paddock coordinates); ·  the 3 maps you have produced. · c) Production Enterprises: This section should discuss your choice of production enterprise for each paddock. Using both the economics provided and your spatial information justify why the enterprises chosen are the most appropriate options for the given economic and spatial information. Explain which variables are important in determining the choice of enterprise for that paddock. d) Conclusion: This section clearly and concisely summarises the outcome of the analysis undertaken in this report. e) References: All published material that has been included in this report must be cited according to the APA standard. Spatial data must be referenced according to the metadata, or copyright information. References are not included in the word count. Rationale This assessment task will assess the following learning outcome/s: ·  be able to demonstrate competency using Microsoft Excel to perform calculations, statistical analysis, and present data ·  be able to demonstrate a knowledge of how GPS technology works and its limitations within precision agriculture ·  be able to demonstrate an understanding of various forms of data acquisition within precision agriculture (remote sensing, yield monitoring) ·  be able to demonstrate an appropriate use of GIS software of agriculturally significant issues (eg soil, weed and/or animal management) · This assessment task is designed to allow you to demonstrate that you can use online GIS resources appropriately to collect and interpret agriculturally significant information that informs farm management decisions. · Marking criteria and standards · AGS107 - Using GIS for Agriculture - Marking Rubric Criteria HD 85% - 100% DI 75% - 84% CR 65% - 74% PS 50% - 64% FL 0% - 49% Introduction (5 marks) The Introduction concisely and clearly describes the purpose of the study.
