Evaluation of the Concept of Learning Styles
Learning is the most important segment of the early childhood period. In fact, learning is the processing and passing of knowledge from one end (the educator) to the other (the child). Children are perceived as the prime receptors of knowledge that learn through their various modes of observations.
The concept of learning is closely associated with shared state of knowledge, in which educators ensure, which they bring in all positive enablers in the process of sharing their knowledge. Additionally, learning is all about breaking down the subject and syllabus to the learning pitch of the students that is it is the responsibility of the educator that they take all possible measures to ensure that sharing of knowledge is smooth and adds to the learning of the students (Leasa & Corebima, 2017).
Various Models of Learning Styles
There are various models followed by educators in the process of applying learning styles to students. These include visual learning, auditory learning, reading and writing based learning as well as kinesthetic learning (VARK Model). A variety of students have their own and unique preferences, if they are placed in a specific condition of learning. For example, some students learn quickly through visual aids given in the classroom about the topic.
This is one of the most important models (visual one) that educators can use in the process of enhancing the learning outcomes. Auditory learning, on the other hand, depends over the sound-based learning styles. Certain voice notes and hearing aids are given to support the course material. There is a common impact of visual and auditory learning style that is delivered over the early age learners; they are gifted with the power of observation and imitation.
