It can be stated that the Parable of the Prodigal Son can be found in Luke Chapter 15l verses 11-32. The major character in the parable is the father who is forgiving and his character remained constant throughout the story, is a God’s picture. In recounting the story, for the most part Jesus recognizes himself with God in his caring demeanor to the lost. Right when the energetic kid came to his father to demand his inheritance, in the Jewish culture of that day, it was like he was saying, "I wish you were dead!"
