Keep in mind that the stories may be partially, probably entirely fictional. Their importance lies not in the facts they purport to recount but as illustrations of Roman values. Explain how the the stories of Tullia and Lucretia exemplify the positive and negative characteristics of Roman women (at least as Livy saw them).
