A student can only achieve competence when all assessment components listed under procedures and specifications of the assessment section are Satisfactory. Your trainer will give you feedback after the completion of each assessment. A student who is assessed as NYS is eligible for re-assessment. Should the student fail to submit the assessment, a result outcome of Did Not Submit (DNS) will be recorded. Student should be provided with an appropriate time frame in which to resubmit their work, according to the RTO’s re-assessment policy and procedure. Plagiarism, cheating and collusion. It will demonstrate all of the skills required for this unit of competency – your assessor will provide further instructions to you, if necessary. Task summary Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to show you have the required skills for this unit. A signed observation by either an approved third party or the assessor will need to be included in this activity as proof of completion. 1. This skills-based activity will require you to identify any difficulties affecting workplace relationships. You will then be expected to write and implement an action plan for the successful resolution of these difficulties. Appropriate vocabulary, grammatical structure, and conventions should be incorporated within the action plan. This activity will need to be observed, and a signed record of this observation (completed by the assessor or third party) should be uploaded in your answer. Part 1
Identifying any Difficulties Affecting Workplace Relationships
A workplace has been observed to face different difficulties. The most important difficulty arising out of workplace relationships is the complaint of favouritism. The employees in a workplace are often not treated with equality. The managers often prefer one worker to another. This is an incorrect move on the part of the managers. The second problem in a workplace is the decreased morale of the workers. The employees in a workplace lose the interest to work. The continuous work appears monotonous to them and as a result, they lose their interest. This causes a decrease in the productivity level of the employees.
Action Plan
The action plan helps the workplace to be free of the difficulties arising in a workplace. The first difficulty pointed out was the problem of favouritism. This problem can be solved and sorted by the manager of the workplace. It is important for the manager to maintain a list. The list will help the manager to keep a track of the task assigned to every worker. As a result, no worker will be endowed with extra work. The number of assignments will be equally distributed over all workers. This will help to prevent favouritism. The result will be a situation where both the managers and the employees will reach a common ground.
The second problem identified in the workplace is the lack of employee morale. An appropriate action plan can help to solve the problem. The first step to increase lack of employee morale is to promote work and personal life balance in the working environment. The employees should be allowed to use proper personal time. This will help them to increase motivation to return back to work with excess spirit. The second step is for the managers to invest in trust building. Trust can be built amongst the workers by keeping the word to provide added incentives for extra work (Whetten, 2011).
Part 2
Progress Report
The progress in the workplace as observed has both positive and negative effects. The managers have taken up initiative to reduce favouritism. The first thing done by the managers was to pre plan a month’s work in advance. This allowed the managers to divide the work equally over the numerous employees. The managers treated the division of work as the ultimate plan to prevent the accusation of favouritism. The second challenge for the managers was to increase productivity. This was done by pushing the lack of employee morale. Morality of the workers can be increased by supporting employees in their work.
Employee Review
The initiative taken by the managers was intended to solve the problem of workplace difficulties. The initiative was taken to improve the working condition of the employees. It was observed by the employees that the managers had put in hard work and effort to frame policies. The policies to remove the activities based on the action plan were appreciative. The policies that were implemented completed with the thought process of the employees. The majority of the employees had complained about the removal of favouritism. At the same time, the managers indicated towards balance, which was a form of change as observed by the employees.
Performance Feedback
The employee feedback is provided by the managers. The manager in an organisation records the closely observed works of every employee. The feedback is provided based on the employee’s capability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. It was found that most of the employees in the organisation were capable of meeting the deadlines. The initiatives taken up by the managers to solve workplace difficulties received appreciation from the employees. This motivated them to put extra effort. The employees of the organisation were satisfied with the new policies. They helped the company to attain extra profit in a particular month.

The recruitment process followed in an organisation involves a series of steps. The first step is to include recruitment planning. Planning is the process to create a draft regarding the availability of vacancies. Planning requires clarifying the responsibilities, which the new employees will require to perform. In the modern world, recruitment highly focuses on diversity inclusion. Therefore, planning will involve what type of diverse culture the organisation wants to include. Conducting an audit for diversity hiring is equally important. The planning will also identify the strength of diversity hiring. Along with the strengths, the recruitment drive will mention the challenges in diversity hiring.
