I have a list of recommendations and looking at it you have to write the methods of implementing those recommendations in less than 250 words. The implementation shall include the timeline and the ways in which we should implement the recommendations.
Recommendations are:

1. George’s Micromanagement

We suggest a combination of both solutions. We recognize that micromanagement is not always negative, and can allow managers to achieve results in tumultuous times whilst not demotivating employees (Delgado et al 2015). We argue that George needs to micromanage at this time because Shelley is not delivering on her tasks.

Shelley should express her concerns about George’s micromanagement to higher management rather than him personally, to avoid potential conflict. Management could suggest that George undertakes a survey such as the ASHP (source). This would allow him to personally recognize his style of micromanagement, and understand why he needs to make changes.

Thus Shelley will have to understand how to respond to George’s micromanagement. Shelley will need to give regular feedback to George so that he is aware of her progress. (source)

2. Self-evaluation

We suggest that George and Shelley should both engage in self-evaluation techniques in order to become more aware of their behaviour towards each other. This process would encapsulate both of the suggestions, because it would also allow George to become aware of his lack of emotional intelligence. It is important that they both become aware of the behaviours that prevent a positive and productive relationship from forming between them.

We recommend Shelley and George both engage in self-management training. Self-management training allows people to ‘plan, apply, monitor and adjust’ their competencies (Dierdorff and Rubin 2015). This technique is more effective than self-awareness alone, because it tests preformed notions and allows new competencies to develop (Frayne and Geringer 2000).

Self-awareness has been found to develop greater empathy for people working in teams, which encourages higher levels of fairness (Barclay and Whiteside 2016). It can be assumed that this process will allow both George and Shelley to understand the each other’s standing points in more detail.

3. Communication

We chose to focus on building open communication between George and Shelley. We believe that this method will allow all expectations to be acknowledged, including George’s need for Shelley to accept his criticism.

During these allocated communication meetings, George and Shelley should each be aware of how they present information to each other according to the 4 Dimensions Framework (Schulz von Thun 2010). As the framework states, they should be aware of the facts that they convey (facts), the relationship that they reinforce or reject (relationship), the emotions that they are trying to evoke (appeal) and the amount of information that they want you to understand (self-disclosure).

They should also be aware of the Pygmalion effect, which suggests that ‘when we expect certain behaviours of others, we are likely to act in ways that make the expected behaviour more likely to occur’ (Rosenthal and Babad, 1985). George and Shelley both have negative expectations of each other’s behaviours, and so it is important that they remain open to new progress.

Reading the recommendations you need to write the implementation of those recommendationsImplementation should include:
Write your recommendations in the form of an action plan. It is good to include a timetable of what should be done when. More specifically, in this section you should explain how you will implement the recommended solutions: what should be done, by whom, when, in what sequence, what they will cost (rough estimates) and other such issues. Remember, if a recommended solution cannot be implemented realistically, then it is no solution at all.

The recommendations provided above are all material to the overall development of the firm
along w
ith the development of both the individuals. The action plan for the recommendations
are as follows:
1. The first important recommendations is the self-evaluation exercise. Self-evaluation would
be done with the help of self-management training and evaluating the past actions wherein
George and Shelley would be aware of their strengths and weaknesses. This would help also
to become more aware about the behaviour of their own and the ones towards each other. The
trainings would be...
