i Everyone,

This online activity is a combination handout / assignment. The handout explains Venn diagrams in more detail. But embedded in the handout, in bold, are four homework questions. To view it, go to the handouts section of the website and click on the handout that says Venn Diagrams.

As you read through the handout, you'll see that three of the four questions require you to draw a Venn diagram. You can do this in MS Word if you know how. But if you don’t know how (or if it’s just easier) you can use a pen or pencil and draw them on a sheet of paper. Then either scan the paper or take a picture of it with your phone, and upload it as your completed assignment. If that's not possible or if you have trouble, you canjust draw the diagrams on a sheet of paper and bring the paper to class.

If you’re uncertain whether your diagrams are correct, that’s okay. Just do the best you can. We’ll go over the handout and the answers to the homework questions in class.
