Introduction
In every individual’s life, a conflict situation always transpires, which are sometimes uncontrollable and unpredictable. These individuals often try to get rid of such situations or may create certain conflicting situation, which might put others in trouble. Therefore, conflict resolution and analysis are two of the most important aspects for individuals to manage (Thomas, 2012). This has been highlighted in the assignment.

As stated by Volkema and Bergmann (1995), when two or more individual provides their opinion to be incompatible then these conflicting situations seems to arise. Two-dimensional behaviour is observed in such conflict situations and they are assertiveness and cooperativeness, which thereby comprises of different responding modes such as competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding and accommodating. This paper will mainly highlight the Compromising and Avoiding modes.
Compromising:
It is a type of Thomas-Kilmann conflict mode instrument, which is intermediate in both assertiveness and cooperativeness. This type of mode can provide you an acceptable solution that partially or temporarily can satisfy one individual’s concern without attempting to satisfy the individual fully (Thomas, 2012).
This mode fall between the competing and accommodating section and give more than competing but less than accommodating. As stated by Koley and Rao (2018), compromising or negotiation is the process of joint decision-making, which is important, is forming both the social as well as political alliances and reaching the trade agreement.
Avoiding:
This is yet another type of Thomas-Kilmann conflict mode, which is both uncooperative as well as unassertive in sense. In this phase, the individual seems to prefer the avoiding situation without concerning about others. They just try to avoid the conflict situation and run away from...
