Introduction
Information holds a significant role with respect to an organization as effective use of the same enables an organization in achieving higher levels of competitive advantage. IS essentially supports an organizations for being competitive and successful organizations to the most extent possess one amongst the factors concerning competition which shall enable the organizations in performing better as compared to other competing organization and the scope of impact could be anything that range between development of new product to that of customer service. In this context, information input shall be critical for the overall process and in similar manner investments with respect to information shall contribute towards the encouragement of creativity and innovation (Arvidsson et al. 2014; Lee et al. 2014; Wu and Chiu 2015). The studies in this context have illustrated relationship amongst information as well as innovation. · Federal Express undertook a differentiation or innovation by employing IT / IS to develop delivery channel as well as integrate innovative technologies for performing as well as providing services for its customers. In essence, FedEx integrated the wireless technologies of RFID as well as Bluetooth within the IS for the purposes of tracking goods its status within tracking system.
