I am writing about a CSA called Silverbrook Farm in North Dartmouth massachusetts. The goal is to get someone to want to switch to healthy organic fruits and vegetables and become part of this CSA.

At South Coast of Massachusetts, the practice of farming is based on taking advantage of beautiful and growing natural climate for growing crops, and people who work and live there. CSA program at Silver brook Farm in North Dartmouth Massachusetts is a new and advanced system that connects producer and consumers in a single unified framework in the food system. Both producer and consumer get an opportunity to come closer by subscribing to harvest to a certain nature food produce or farm. It can be understood as an alternative to socioeconomic model of agriculture where producer and consumers equally shares the risks and benefits of farming (Aulisio, 2011).
The main purpose of CSA is to strengthen the sense of community through increasing accessibility by both producer and consumers. In this, consumers receive produce or farm goods either weekly or bi-weekly; there is supply of in-season fruits and vegetables, along with dried goods, eggs, milk, meat and few others. The farmers are dedicated towards developing strong relationship with customers by sending those weekly letters and publications regarding what are happening on the farm, encouraging them to make investment for harvest, and, organising an open-farm event. There is also contribution of labour by both the parties.
