Human Resource ManagementResearch Paper/Presentation GuidanceIdentify an area of interest related to Organizational Behavior and/or Human Resource Management. Possible topics will come from the text, current affairs, or a relevant personal experience, which demonstrates how diversity impacts a multicultural organization. This relates to SLO #1:Explain organizational behavior and its role in the management of workforce diversity through situational analysis and class discussions.Students should demonstrate the ability to research existing literature and integrate new ideas into the current understanding of the Organizational Behavior arena. As researchers, you are expected to contribute to “the body of knowledge”.Students will be evaluated on their ability to conduct research and on the content and substance of their research papers.Research papers must conform to MLA guidelines and the guidelines discussed in class. Papers are to be six (6) full pages of text. Not included in this count, but included in the paper will be a cover/title page and a complete bibliography/references page (Works Cited). The paper must include at least four (4) references or sources.Research papers will be evaluated on both content and on overall scholarliness. They must show a good understanding of the chosen topic and be neatly and correctly typewritten. The following is a listing of the research paper components:Introduction, including a thesis statementReview of the Literature (comprehensive review of all literature with all references properly cited in this section and the Works Cited section).Methodology (this will include specific details of your research design including qualitative data {interviews/personal experiences} and/or quantitative data {surveys/questionnaires}).Discussion (thorough discussion section with your critical analysis of data collection and individual perspectives).Conclusion (this section comprehensively summarizes your research and directly relates to your thesis statement; may also give recommendations for future research).
