This is a write up by the famous ancient political scientist, Plato, named, “Apology” or “The death of Socrates”. It is a speech that Socrates makes before his execution on his trial. He was accused for not acknowledging the God that were acknowledged by the state. Socrates was inventing new Gods that offended the statesman. It discusses under which condition the execution of Socrates was carried out and what it says about the life of a human being. Socrates speaks with honesty, in a direct tone because he was not very much acquainted with the ways that language was used in a court room. So, he just decided to be himself.
