a) Here total no of values =18
So mean = (6+ 2+ 7+ 4+ 3+ 3+ 3+ 9+ 8+ 2+ 0+ 1+ 7+ 3+ 1+ 8+ 5+ 4)/18 = 76/18 = 4.222
b) Here total no of values = 9
So mean = (1.25+8.38+4.22+9.17+4.25+3.86+4.10+ 4.11+ 4.19)/9 = 43.53/9 = 4.83667
