How would you characterize Wollan’s argument? Is it an argument of fact? Of definition? Of evaluation? A causal argument? A proposal? What evidence can you give for your claim? Once you’ve decided which of these kinds of arguments best characterizes the selection as a whole, look for sections of the article that represent other kinds of arguments. (Chapters 8–12 discuss each of these kinds of arguments in turn.)
