According to the words
of Kong (2018) for retaining the employees in the hotel industry the managers have to introduce different practices and policies (Goh et al 2018,p.442) . For attracting and retaining the employees in the organization the companies have to treat employees productively. The managers has to collect feedback from the employees for understanding the issues faced by the employees. According to the words of Singh (2018) hospitality industry is facing a big problem related to employee turnover. Lack of flexibility, unclear job description and inefficient communication are major reasons for the high rate of employee turnover in the hotel industry (Singh et al 2018,p.10). Most of the researchers stated that the workload of the employees in the Food and beverage department compared to other job is very risky and the managers have to introduce productive practices and policies for retaining the employees. As per the report of the HR Institute in Australia (2016), most of the hotel groups in Sydney effectively introduced employee engagement strategies for retaining the employees in the Food and beverage department. Employees are always searching for better opportunities and it is the duty of the managers to help the employees at right time. The companies have to provide better opportunities and they also have to create a growth-oriented culture for effectively retaining the customers. Cherie McGill (2019) HR head at Mantra Group and Kate Tones stated that employees in the food and beverages department required more care and support (Bianca 2017). For improving the motivational level of the employees in the food and beverages department the companies like Mantra group developed team-based structure. They also developed friendship culture within the organization and it helps the company to retain the employees and for getting the best quality services from the workforce.
 As per the report of Business Insider (2019) employees are valuable assets for a hotel chain, for satisfying the needs of the customers we required skilled and competent employees (Chen et al 2019,p.36). According to the words of Justin Hemmes (2019) the CEO of Merivale, for retaining the employees the company introduced programs such an ‘Unbottle Your Dreams’ Employees in Merivale are satisfied with the services offered by the organization (Matt 2019,p.1)....
