How can the stakeholders change over the course of a project? Give
examples of changes in who the stakeholders are, and also in how their interests or influence over the project might change throughout the term of the project. AGREE OR DISAGREE?Stakeholders in any project can be classified into internal or external. The internal stakeholders are those who are a part of the organization, external stakeholders influence the operations of the business from outside. The stakeholder whether internal or external can have an effect on the course of a project. These are a few of the changes that can occur during the project's lifecycle. The first stakeholder that will be covered is the Suppliers. The suppliers are external stakeholders who influence the project (Qeshreh, 2014). However, many times suppliers are changed according to the needs of the project in the current phase, which changes their influence level over the project. The next stakeholder that will be discussed are the Business partners. These business partners are present to provide a special service such as support staff or helping in the training of the employees. As their services are offered, they may leave the project and bring down their influence over the project. The last stakeholder that will be discussed are the Sponsors. The sponsor may provide guidance over different stages of the project. They offer guidance from the initial phases of the project by acting as a spokesperson for the team (Qeshreh, 2014). They are responsible for ensuring the support of the management team by instilling the benefits of the project (Qeshreh, 2014). The Sponsor also has a role in the risk management process by assisting with the changes such as changes in scope and phase-end reviews.
