The number of enrolments for statistics major has increased to 2250 in the year 2019 as compared to 1700 enrolments in the year 2018. The number of enrolments for the subjects of statistics, business law, accounting, econom
ics, finance, and marketing management has increased in the year 2019 as compared to the year 2018. However, for the auditing subject, it has decreased slightly in the year 2019 as compared to the year 2018.
b)
The percentage of enrolments for statistics has increased to 25% in the year 2019 as comparison to 23% in the year 2018. The percentage of enrolments for the subjects of statistics, business law, accounting, economics, finance, and marketing management has increased in the year 2019 as compared to the year 2018. However, for the auditing subject, it has decreased slightly in the year 2019 in comparison to the year 2018.

a)
The questionnaires are used to collect the information/data regarding working hours, income and demographic factors like age, childcare needs, occupation choice and flexibility. In this method questions are asked about mentioned variables to know participants choice of answer or his/her point of view. Participants may remain anonymous while answering the questionnaire.
b)
Simple random sampling can be used to collect the sample. In this method each unit of the population has equal and independent chance of being included in the sample. I randomly select 50 employees in the cafeteria of my company. These participants are asked to fill a questionnaire via pen and paper. Their selected answers are then entered and saved in an excel sheet.
c)
The two main variables in this data set are working hours and income. Both these variables are continuous in nature as are numeric. Both of them are measured by the ratio scale of measurement.
d)
Response biasedness occurs when researcher ask questions in a way, he wants he wants respondents to answer. This could be a case here. The sample may be biased as all participants are randomly picked from cafeteria of the same company.
