1. How would you avoid or rectify the following film faults?
Film fault
How can this be avoided/rectified
Image distortion from bent film
Asking patients to be close in a gentle way against biteblock. This way, the film do not bend versus the palate or floor of the mouth
Partial image on film
The film needs to be centered over the teeth that needs to be imaged
Underexposed film
Checking temperature and adjusting in case it is required
Air bubbles on film
Sveral points to be kept in mind like running a check film and replenishing or replacing solutions if required
Fixer staining
Keeping the place of work clean and dry
