Entry One: The Bloody Passover
Dear Diary, I lived my entire day and life so far obviously as Member of Irgun and I feel that In the wake of 1917, as I have read and observed, British officials confronted Jewish nationalists who protested for a separate state in Palestine for Jews. The ongoing struggle results in violence and riots in 192o where five Jews were killed in controlling process of the riot. The event is known as the bloody Passover (Ginat). I could also view that it was not like that just the Jews were killed in this riots; due to holding the front against them, four of the Arabs were also killed and it consequently put the whole region under great political and geographical tensions. In fact, during this meeting, Italy supported the idea of giving Mandate of Palestine to Britain. The Arabs of Palestine who could hold the Balfour declaration opposed this mandate again and in April 1920, once again, six of the Arabs were killed in a violent action. Overall, a close analysis of the 1920 and the process of Mandate given over Palestine resulted in the form of violent conflicts among the Arabs and the European rulers, especially the Britain (Cohen).
