Executive Summary:
1. Ford and Taylorism
This activity is a true story based on the work life of the workers of the Ford Company. During the initial days, there was no assembly line and automaton. The workers used to work on their own pace and create cars that took time. They served the rich and niche market. The cars made by the ford were for the luxury class and the difference between the makers of the car and the buyer of the car was significant. The newer system of assembly line was introduced which reduced the cost and time per vehicle and hence the conveyer belt was introduced. (Waring, S.P., 2016)
2. Thomas Friedman on Globalization
This activity explains the theory of globalization in 3 stages and explains how the world has grown from a distinct large world to a tiny compact, well connected world where the globalization has spread from the country to an individual level. This globalization has brought together the countries, businesses and individuals. There are many concepts in globalization but this concept feels to be right and explain the concepts correctly. The new challenges that needed to be faced with increasing competition among individuals and the companies.
