Abstract
Leadership is the most important aspect of one's professional career growth; in this report, the leadership attributes present within me as a deputy manager have been decried. The qualities that are not present within me but need to be developed are also a fact that has been described. in this report, the current strengths and weaknes
ses and improvement areas in my personality have been described. Along with that, the figure goals of bridging the current gap have been mentioned. The current industrial changes require different approaches to leadership, which are applicable across all industries. That is not limited to any particular position. The specific focus is on diversity management and a flexible approach. These current trends in leadership styles are the ones where there will be differences. Based on the improvement areas in my leadership skills and the weaknesses in my personality, few recommendations for improvements have been provided. The improvements are required based on the gap that has been found in what is needed and what is to be done to attain such heights. The industrial news and the industrial trends are aspects that require specific changes in quality and competency development. These can be the foundation for professional development through training and courses and practically enhancing leadership skills.
Introduction
Being an ambitious person, I have always thrived to become a self-motivated and self-made man, which led me today to a position of duty manager in an Australian based company. At the age of 20, I first started working to earn my own money. The hurdles I have gone through have made me realise my potential in all that I have done in my life. During this journey of years, I have learned from exploring my limitations and capabilities. Through means of which I could attain the height of success, that has hindered my progress. I have always been a person who likes to take the initiative and like to decide on my thighs beforehand carrying it out. If I look at my strength, I always like to become the person in a room who observes quietly and can work best when alone. But that is a weakness if one is into a group and teaming up with everyone is an absolute necessity. However, I adore myself for being down to earth. For being able to communicate in an exceptionally precise manner, I would not be the best-suited person when it comes to working with many people. This has hindered my growth in many cases.
Though I have tried to work on it over the years, and I have become less individualistic regarding this. There were times when I questioned my capabilities to cope with the daily struggles of professional life. Through self-analysis, I have realised that I am not a good person who can delegate tasks properly and is too disorganised in that matter. the critical analysis of my personality traits helps gain insight into the problematic areas in my personality. The gaps identification further made me understand to enhance my skills, which I previously lacked. That is why today I am in a position where there can not be that mu8ch influence of my past mistakes that have shaped my career path into this. O have tried to enhance my potential on the aspects which were lacking previously. The capacity that I was not having helped me boost my confidence level and has helped me facilitate my work-life progress.
