Methods of Conducting Consultation during Development of Policy and Procedure
Conducting consultation is one of the most integral parts of the development of the policy and procedure of the salon. At the first step, a draft is prepared regarding the safe working practices and procedures that needed to be followed in the salon. This draft document will be shared with the relevant stakeholders to receive feedback from them to further restructure the draft policy accordingly. During the consultation process, it is advised to maintain integrity and transparency, accessibility, and commitment towards forming the policy for the salon (Harris et al., 2018).

It is very much important to effectively communicate the WHS policies, procedures, and safe working practices in the salon, which can be done in several ways. The communication can be done by sending email or newsletter to the salon staff, ensuring that there is adequate signage throughout the salon regarding the safe work practice, using pictures and videos in the display to provide the overview regarding the safe practice, regular meeting with the salon staffs must be conducted, proper training must be provided to the recruit, regular employee review process along with client feedback is necessary to properly communicate the requirements of safe work practice in the salon (Tetzlaff et al., 2021).

The salon manager needs to listen to the concerns of clients as well as of staff, and if there are any kind of concerns concerning the practice of WHS policies by the staff, then the manager can also raise concerns against the staff. It is important to seek and share views and information regarding various kinds of risks and the possible strategies to mitigate those risks. And lastly, the salon manager needs to consider what the staff had to say regarding the policy contents before making the decision (Yanar et al., 2019).
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of WHS Practices in Salon
It is essential to evaluate the WHS policy to analyse the effectiveness along with the necessary changes that are required to be implemented. As discussed by Sorensen et al. (2018) that the evaluation of the WHS policy in the salon can be done by the following process:

· The second process is to evaluate the existing documentation of the WHS policy, and also to ensure that the salon management had signed the WHS management plan, it is also important to evaluate that the staff is getting access to the documentation of the WHS policy, and lastly, the evaluation is done regarding how the records of staff, inductions, and training is managed of the staffs.
· The third process of evaluation is evaluating the salon work area, where the monitoring of the work station along with the equipment, and the safety practice that is maintained for the staff and clients.
