hi, this assignment is advanced research in IT.Advance research assignments 4 in total to submit:
Research question and abstract which is already submittedResearch proposal due by September 9th WednesdayReport Introduction, andResearch Report
i have attached all the templates. At the moment,I require a research proposal to be submitted by Wednesday 9th September. Also, My tutor has said me to do critical analysis taking around 50 related papers anda quantitative survey method and write 10 questionnaires for medical practitioner for data collection, and come up with the best accuracy of algorithm is my result. used for detecting the early stage of cancer using data analytics. As per sir my finalizedresearch question is: "How imaging data can be used in data analysis techniques to detect early stage cancer?"
I have also attached the feedback.
Hoping for your kind consideration.kind regards
MITS Advanced Research Techniques Research Proposal Proposed Title: Proposed Title of the Research to be Undertaken Abstract The Abstract goes here. The abstract is a brief summary of the contents of a study, and it allows readers to quickly survey the essential elements of a project. Approximately 150 - 250 words. Abstract should be justified, italicized with small margins than the rest of the document Outline of the Proposed Research This section provides an opportunity to quickly grab the attention of your reviewer and explain why they should care about the project. Contains a number of important sections. The sections below are recommended, but can be changed to suit different proposals approx 2pages Background A brief section of the Outline that provides background information for the research. Helps establish context and how it is related to other research Purpose Outlines the primary purposes and goals of your research Rationale In this sub-section you need to answer the question “Why are we doing this” and “Who cares”? Research Topic and central research question This is a re-statement of the research question you already developed, but with topic baqckground to provide context for the research question approx. half to one page Methodological Approach This section outlines the methods you will use in conducting the research and analyzing the data. This is a brief outline and not a fill methodology chapter approx. half to one page Research Design This section describes how you will go about collecting your data, the design of any research experiments, simulations, details of any software to be created approx. half to one page Contribution In this section you need to detail what the contribution and/ or significance of the research will be. Does it fill gaps in knowledge, does it extend the boundaries of knowledge etc … approx half page Proposed Time Schedule Include a proposed timeline for the conduct of the research Literature References An Initial list Literature resources. Include your preliminary list of references. These must be in IEEE format. The list should be enough to show a preliminary understanding of the filed and the references must be relevant to the research question is some way. Number of references should display reasonable preliminary effort. Feedback from Tutor: You need to modify your questions a little bit to "How imaging data can be used in data analysis techniques to detect early stage cancer?" A good introduction start. and highlight of the problem. You need to connect the data analysis with your problem. It seems bit disconnected like you were talking about cancer then suddenly jump to data analysis. Your methodology is not clear? How you are going to do this research? You need to do this research as a quantitative research. It will be identifying cancer and your results can be the accuracy of your algorithm. MITS Advanced Research Techniques Research Report Candidate: Student Name Higher Education Department Victorian Institute of Technology Report Title: Proposed Title of the Research to be Undertaken Abstract The Abstract goes here. The abstract is a brief summary of the contents of a study, and it allows readers to quickly survey the essential elements of a project. Approximately 150 - 250 words. Abstract should be justified, italicized with small margins than the rest of the document Introduction This Section contains the Introduction for the proposed research report… consider any feedback given and the marking guide used for the previous assignment approx. 3 pages Literature Review This Section contains the methodology for the proposed research report… consider any feedback given and the marking guide used for the previous assignment approx. 5 pages Methodology This Section contains the methodology for the proposed research report… consider the marking guide used for the previous assignment approx. 3 pages References This section contains all the references for the report in IEEE format MITS Advanced Research Techniques Research Report Candidate: Student Name Higher Education Department Victorian Institute of Technology Report Title: Proposed Title of the Research to be Undertaken Extended Abstract This is where the extended Abstract is placed. Any extensive research report will usually begin with an extended abstract. You can begin the abstract by placing a copy of your initial abstract here. Use your initial abstract as a scaffold and then beginning by adding more depth to what you have. An abstract is a condensed and concentrated version of the report in about 250-300 words. An extended Abstract is more than just a long abstract, it should contain references to related works and other details not expected in a condensed abstract. The usual elements of an abstract should be there such as motivation, background, approach (methodology), results (though you do not have any results you mat postulate to a certain degree), significance of the study, how it extend the body of knowledge/ This should be approx ¾ - 1 page long Introduction This Section contains the Introduction for the proposed research report… consider any feedback given and the marking guide used for the previous assignment This does not have to be divided into sub-sections, but can be for clarity. Remember that the introduction leads the reader from the General to the very specific about your research and establishes the scope, context and significance of the research. It does this by summarizing the current understanding, background information, stating the purpose of the work and the research problem, explains briefly the methodological approach, and highlights potential outcomes. You must be careful to keep the narrative flow Length approx. 3 pages References This section contains all the references for the report in IEEE format. By now you should have around 20 references to report. These will then be utilized in the Literature Review in the next assessment.
