Overview
The article that is taken into account for carrying out this particular task is "Enhancing Motivation for Online Learning during COVID-19" by Bobby Hoffman. However, using all my understanding about the learning and teaching in Foundation Phase Mathematics that is thoroughly developed in this module.

Agreeing with Hoffman
I completely agree with the author that online learning is quite difficult and it has some of the major problems. However, the educators and the children can cope with it easily if they tend to implement some of the interest elements.
Hoffman stated that the presence of the teacher plays one of the most important roles for motivating online learners regardless of anything. Similarly, it has been learned that in the Foundation phase teachers have a rewarding and exciting task in terms of teaching the children the foundations of maths (Hoffman, 2020). Furthermore, educators are also responsible for helping the children for developing their thinking skills. In the course, it has been also learned that the educators aim in instilling critical awareness in terms of how mathematical relationships are used in environmental, social, economic, and cultural relations. It has been argued by Hoffman that particular steps must be taken into account for avoiding repetitive discussions base on texts, while instead of cultivating the higher-order skills educators such as creative thinking. Contrasting it with the content of the module, similarly, it has been observed that each of the content areas that are taught by the educators in the Foundation Phase tends to contribute toward the acquisition of the particular skills and they ensure that repetitive discussions are avoided.
As per Hoffman when learners assume instruction provided by the educators are valuable and quite relevant to their academic then their motivation will enhance at an alarming rate. Similarly, I agree with the fact but engagement in this segment is required in terms of getting positive results. With a reasonable amount of engagement, students will be motivated as they will see that their teachers are equally involved with them.
